Maharaja Aishwarya Pratap Chauhan was born to H.H. Late Maharaja
Virendrasingh Chauhan and Maharani Nirmal Kumari on December 3,
1979. He has been educated at the Bhavan's School at Baroda and
at the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. Maharaja Aishwarya
Pratap Chauhan has been actively involved in playing cricket during
his school and college days. Also a keen quizzer, the princes has
won several laurels in quizzing and debates during his school and
After completing his degree in Commerce, he began his career by
assisting his father, in his several enterprises, primarily his
garment manufacturing unit at Bangalore. Prince Aishwarya Pratap
is actively involved in several projects pertaining to the royal
family restoration of the family palace Kusum Vilas Palace at Chhotaudepur,
restoration of the decades old famous paintings by M.V. Dhurandhar.
Currently, H. H. Maharaja Aishwaryapratap Singh Chauhan is spearheading
the launch of his new venture a garment manufacturing unit in Mauritius,
to supply garments to all the major international brands.
Prince Aishwarya Pratap Singh Chauhan acceded to the gadi of Chhotaudepur
on July 9, 2005 after the untimely demise of H.H. Maharaja Virendrasingh
Chauhan, and was officially coroneted as the next king of Chhotaudepur.
